Hardface of the Fans

Worn Description: Fans are widely used in metallurgy, power plants and construction. The fan blades will be severely worn in short time while sustaining intensive impacts, which leads to the failure of the fan system.

Analysis: The worn ports generally account for small portion of the fan system and the most other parts are good enough to serve normally and still have high use value.  Therefore, the life of the fan system can be improved through improving the wear-resistance of the wearing parts. A good solution is hardfacing the wearing parts of fan to develop a wear-resistant layer on their surface while manufacturing them of before using them. The life of the fan with hardfacing can improved 2 times than that without hardfacing.
